Where are cable connections available?
Wellington and Kapiti Region’s (Paraparaumu, Lower Hutt, Johnsonville and the Wellington City districts. Cable is NOT available in Porirua, Tawa, Upper Hutt or some area’s of the Central City)

How do I get cable?
After we’ve checked your address for availability, we log a request with the Cable Modem Provider to do the install. The installers have technical set up instructions from us and configure the device onsite for you. Jobs logged take nine working days.
I have a cable modem through another ISP, can I change to Xtreme?
Yes. There is a procedure to change, and you need to consider any contracts you have with your existing ISP. Please call us for more information on changing ISP’s.
Is National traffic really free?
Yes, yes, yes! There are NO TRICKS, no gimmicks, it IS entirely free.
Do you Peer At The WIX?
Yes, Xtreme Networks is peering at the WIX.
Can I host web content on a PC connected to the Internet via an Xtreme Networks Cable Modem connection?
Yes. Website hosting is allowed on the Cable Modem connections. Remember that these may incur traffic quota charges. Business related uses (VPN’s etc) are encouraged. However, please make sure you are familiar with our Terms of Services relating to File Sharing applications and restricted content—Available here
